This Land Away Flight Experience duplicates the thrill of conventional air travel. Arrive at the airport, board the plane and fly to a new destination - but this time, you will be flying the aircraft!

This amazing flight experience starts with a full brief from your flying instructor covering the key elements of your land away flying lesson: aircraft handling, weather, Air Traffic Control and approach procedures into your chosen destination. With Land's End and the Isles of Scilly as possible destinations, both of our land away flights will give you the opportunity to truly discover Cornwall from the air.

After landing at your chosen location, if pre-arranged, you will be able to take some time to look around before taking off and flying back home to Cornwall Airport Newquay. This is an absolutely unique flying experience, especially when you realise that you will have flown the aircraft to, and from, a new destination.

Our Land Away Experiences are suitable for a maximum of two people (combined weight limit of 25 stone, individual weight restriction of 17 stone) and are ideal for those looking for a more challenging flying lesson. Why not turn this into double flight experience, with the option to swap pilots for the return leg from your chosen desintation - a perfect option if two people would both like to have a go at flying the plane!

Both our Land's End and Isles of Scilly Land Away flights can be purchased as a gift experience where we will send you a personalised gift voucher for the recipient(s) with the details of their flight. Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months and can be booked at a convenient date and time for the voucher holder (subject to availability).
